Paid orders: performance of a contract (Art. 6 §1 b GDPR). Free calculator: legitimate interest (Art. 6 §1 f GDPR).

If you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address based on your consent (Art. 6 §1 a GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing. Processor: Resend.

International data transfers

Transfers to US-based providers (Anthropic, Vercel, Resend) are safeguarded via EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable. Personal data at rest is stored in our EU-hosted database (Neon).

Retention

Order data is retained for the legally required period (10 years under German tax law). Free-calculator inputs are not stored permanently. You may request deletion at any time: privacy@koreanbirthchart.com

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection (www.datenschutz-berlin.de).

Measurement & your consent

We would like to know which post or link brought you to this site, and whether you went on to create a chart or buy a reading. This is optional and we ask before we do it. If you agree, we store a randomly generated code on your device (browser local storage, not a cookie) together with the campaign parameters from the link you arrived through. That code lets us count one visit as one visit across pages, and connects a purchase back to the post that led to it. It expires after 30 days. We do not store your IP address or browser user agent with these records, we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking, and this data is never linked to your name or email. It is processed on our own servers (Vercel) and stored in our EU database (Neon) — no third-party analytics provider receives it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 §1 a GDPR). Declining changes nothing about how the site works. You can withdraw at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, which deletes the code immediately.
